I see myself as "neuroknotty". "Neuro-" as having a mind, of course, but also in the context of identifying as part of the Neurodivergent community. "Knotty" as in knots tied and seemingly fixed; knots to unwind; tension; complexity; confusion and maybe mystery (at least for me). My mind as a series of knots and I am in deep concentration, moving my fingers gingerly through the series of interlocking chains and strings, and all the while I am puzzling it out.

I started this blog because I keep feeling I should... something I say or post may help someone who stumbles upon it. I don't like feeling so many people in the world alone and not understood. I have learned from many voices in my life that 'storytelling is powerful' so I try to do it because people need to know people like me exist, so maybe they don't feel so strange or lonely or just hanging on everyday wondering if it is just them. So, here I am saying, "It isn't. It really isn't." in my own way.
